CRI Properties, Inc., is an independent real estate company owned by Thomas Nielsen and Melissa Worrell. CRI (an acronym for Commercial, Residential, Investment) opened its doors in December 1998 primarily handling residential sales transactions. In March 1999, we incorporated the company and in July of that year opened a property management division, servicing both commercial and residential investments. There was a great deal of planning prior to expanding into this area, as our goal was to provide the highest quality of property management servicing available in this market. After over 50 years of combined experience in having our own residential investments managed by other firms and having worked in other property management offices, we distilled the very best of this experience to form our foundation.

Our goals are to provide an extraordinary level of service, the type of service we expect for our own investments. That is always our litmus test; we want every client to receive the same personal attention we would expect.

In doing so, we have created a property management department that is extraordinary in many ways. We are constantly growing and implementing innovative ideas whenever we uncover a better way to do things. One example was the establishment of the Maintenance Medic in 2000. This maintenance division was a perfect complement as it allowed quality control of the repair services that we previously had to contract out. We can now provide timely, cost effective responses to tenant requests. This translates to properties that are well cared for, fewer repairs over time, and happier occupants that tend to stay longer and take better care of your investment.
